MAPIT Brussels & Leuven Clustering Event 1–4 June 2026.

MAPIT Project partners gathered in Brussels and Leuven, Belgium, from 1–4 June 2026 for the MAPIT Brussels Clustering Event.

The event brought together project partners to present their organisations and exchange knowledge and experiences in areas including smart specialisation, precision agriculture, regional innovation, smart cities, urban data, advanced digital technologies, artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, SME support, and R&D infrastructure.

Throughout the programme, participants discussed EU funding opportunities, Horizon Europe calls, EIC support mechanisms for SMEs, market access funds, and perspectives on interregional innovation collaboration. The event also provided a valuable platform for networking and exploring future cooperation opportunities among stakeholders from different regions and sectors.

As part of the programme, participants visited mobility research projects and city innovation initiatives in Leuven, gaining insights into innovative approaches and best practices in urban development and mobility. During the final two days, project partners attended EIC Summit 2026, where they participated in workshops and keynote sessions focused on innovation, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies.

The MAPIT Brussels Clustering Event contributed to strengthening collaboration among project partners, fostering knowledge exchange, and supporting the development of sustainable regional innovation ecosystems across Europe.
