The Fifth “Learning from the Future” Conference – KTO Karatay University, Türkiye

As part of the MAPIT Project, the fifth “Learning from the Future” Conference, organised by the Institute for Future Research (IFR) and WEglobal, was successfully held on 8 April 2025, hosted by KTO Karatay University.

The conference was a great success, featuring the participation of Mr. Vehbi Konarılı, Provincial Director of Industry and Technology in Konya; Prof. Dr. Fevzi Rıfat Ortaç, Rector of KTO Karatay University; and leading representatives from the regional industry and academia. Their active engagement and valuable insights greatly contributed to the event’s collaborative atmosphere.

Throughout the sessions, participants took part in in-depth discussions on KTO Karatay University’s long-term vision and the strategic steps required to translate this vision into reality, using the Learning from the Future Methodology as a guiding framework.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all participants for their contributions, to KTO Karatay University for graciously hosting the event, and to the Institute for Future Research and WEglobal for their organisation and expert facilitation through their mentors.
