The Fourth “Learning from the Future” Conference – Tallinn University of Technology, Estonia

As part of the MAPIT Project, the fourth “Learning from the Future” Conference, organised by the Institute for Future Research (IFR) and WEglobal, was successfully held on 4 April 2025, hosted by Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech).

The conference brought together academics from Tallinn University of Technology and Aalto University, alongside professionals from the FinEst Centre, fostering a collaborative environment for in-depth discussions on the future vision of the FinEst Centre and the strategic steps required to realise it.

Participants actively engaged in foresight-based dialogue sessions, applying the Learning from the Future Methodology to explore long-term directions, innovation opportunities, and capacity-building priorities for the Centre’s development.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all participants for their valuable contributions, to Tallinn University of Technology for hosting the event, and to the Institute for Future Research and WEglobal for their dedicated coordination and mentorship in facilitating the conference and workshop activities.

Supported by the Horizon Europe programme, the MAPIT Project remains committed to collaboratively learning and shaping the future together with its stakeholders across Europe.
