The MAPIT Project consortium gathered at İzmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH) for its Final Consortium Meeting, bringing together all project partners to reflect on the achievements accomplished throughout the project and to discuss future cooperation beyond its official completion. The meeting marked a significant milestone in the MAPIT journey, providing an opportunity to evaluate project outcomes while establishing a roadmap for continued collaboration.
During the meeting, consortium partners reviewed the achievements of each work package, assessed the project’s final outputs, and discussed the overall impact of MAPIT on their respective institutions. Dedicated sessions focused on sustainability planning, future collaboration opportunities, and preparations for the project’s final reporting and review process, ensuring that the knowledge and experience gained throughout the project will continue to benefit the consortium.
A key highlight of the programme was the Secondment Experience Sharing session, where partners presented the outcomes of their international mobility activities. Participants shared the knowledge, best practices, and institutional benefits gained through secondments, demonstrating how staff mobility has strengthened organisational capacity, enhanced knowledge transfer, and fostered lasting partnerships across the European research and innovation ecosystem.
The meeting also provided a valuable platform to identify new opportunities for joint participation in future Horizon Europe initiatives and other international research and innovation programmes. By building on the networks, expertise, and collaborative relationships established during MAPIT, the consortium reaffirmed its commitment to sustaining the project’s impact and developing new cooperative initiatives.
As the MAPIT Project reaches its final phase, the consortium remains dedicated to ensuring that the project’s legacy continues through ongoing knowledge exchange, institutional capacity building, and long-term international collaboration. The MAPIT Project extends its sincere appreciation to all consortium partners for their commitment, contributions, and collaborative spirit throughout this successful journey.
