As part of the Horizon Europe MAPIT Project, representatives from IZTECH and Teknopark İzmir participated in a secondment hosted by Trentino Sviluppo S.p.A. in Trento, Italy, from 17–19 June. The programme also included participation in the EBN Congress 2026, bringing together key actors from Europe’s innovation ecosystem.
The EBN Congress 2026 provided a dynamic platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration among innovation centres, science and technology parks, incubators, accelerators, and business support organisations from across Europe. The event enabled participants to explore emerging trends, share experiences, and strengthen connections with organisations driving regional and European innovation.
Throughout the secondment, the MAPIT team took part in keynote sessions, interactive workshops, and technical site visits while engaging in nearly 40 bilateral meetings with innovation stakeholders. These discussions provided valuable opportunities to exchange best practices, reinforce existing partnerships, identify new collaboration opportunities, and gain first-hand insights into regional innovation ecosystems, technology transfer practices, and business support services.
The secondment represented an important step in achieving the MAPIT Project’s objectives by promoting staff mobility, enhancing institutional capacity, and facilitating the transfer of knowledge between project partners and the wider European innovation community. Such activities contribute to strengthening cross-border cooperation and creating sustainable partnerships that support innovation and digital transformation across Europe.
The MAPIT Project remains committed to fostering international collaboration, encouraging mutual learning, and building a stronger, more connected European innovation ecosystem through knowledge sharing and cooperation.
